Manoj Bajpayee recently spoke about not collaborating with the filmmaker Anurag Basu for a long period of time.
Citing the same, the actor said that there was a point where he felt Anurag wasn’t making the type of films he was doing.
He said, "There was a misunderstanding about one
thing, and we didn't talk about it. Now it has become so big on social media that sometimes when embarrassment occurs, things are exaggerated. We didn't talk because I felt he wasn't making my type of films!”
The actor added, "He (Kashyap) also felt that there was no need for Manoj Bajpayee right now because his career was going down. So both of us were enjoying our lives separately, he didn't need me, and I didn't need him.”
The last project on which both of them collaborated was ‘Gangs of Wasseypur.’
Meanwhile, Manoj is all set for his upcoming film ‘Bhaiyya Jii’ which will release on May 24.
