Salman Khan is set to feature in AR Murugadoss' directorial 'Sikandar' which will also star Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. 

Although much of the details about the plot and the role have been kept under wraps, the fans are already full of excitement to witness the film which is set to release during EID in the next year.

Now, a source in one of the entertainment websites revealed that the actor is set to perform most of the action sequences by himself.

The source was quoted saying,  “The first schedule will be in Mumbai, and the team will do a recce next week to lock the locations. In May-end, Salman will do a photoshoot, and the principal photography will begin after June 20.”  
  
Further adding,  “Salman insists on doing action himself. He has modified his workout regimen to develop a chiselled physique."

Rashmika recently featured in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial 'Animal' which also starred Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
