Jason Shah, who recently worked in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,' spoke about getting massive shots cut from the film 'Fitoor' which featured him. 

Earlier, he mentioned that Katrina Kaif, who is the lead actress in the film, was the reason for it as she wanted to reshoot several scenes after her weight loss.

This time, the actor claimed that although his scenes were reduced he didn't mean to be portrayed the way his words were projected.

He said, "So, I think for the sake of TRPs, that was actually changed."

He further added, "What I said was that Katrina needed some part of the movie reshot for whatever personal reasons she had. And because of that, something of mine was left out. Because I understand that producers are working within budgets and things like that. I think what came out was that I was cut out of the movie because of Katrina Kaif. I don't even think she would have a call like that."

Jason concluded, "You know, as an actress, I think she does her job very professionally."
'Fitoor' also starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu in the lead. 

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film released in 2016.
