Richa Chadha recalls stepping out of scenes in Panga: I kind of opted out

Richa Chadha has been receiving much praise for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.’

Despite having limited screen space she managed to impress the audience and leave a long lasting impact.

Recently, the actress shared about working in ‘Panga’ which also starred Kangana Ranaut.

Richa said that there was a point she felt she wasn’t getting what she expected from the film which resulted in her option out of it.

She said, "I kind of opted out of a
lot of scenes in that one, I'll tell you…”

She added, “Especially towards the end. I was excited about it because I thought the film would be about female athletes, and how the choices are even more tough for them, in between having a child.”

 "Somewhere along the line, it
went south, for me. So, I was like, 'Give me a guest appearance'."

Richa concluded, "I would say it had more meat, definitely…. It's not about the supporting part, the small part, the special appearance. None
of that really matters to me, because I feel like I hold my own no matter where I am."
