Deepika Padukone has been a part of several Hollywood projects and has made a significant mark in the Bollywood becoming one of the top contemporary actresses.
In a recent interview, the actress mentioned how Indian work in films has began getting recognition from outside and also highlighted that the doors of west have been open for more work from the outside now.
She added that the quality of work has always been there in India but it just wasn't getting enough recognition.

She further added, " I think we’ve always had interesting stories to tell, but I do think that what has changed is that the world has opened up to the idea of the East and India in particular and I think that’s the change — realizing there is a world outside of America.”
On the work front, Deepika will next appear in Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Singham Again' which will also feature Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar.
