Disney+ Hotstar has released the teaser for its upcoming action-drama series ‘Bad Cop,’ promising a thrilling ride with a classic cop versus villain narrative loaded with twists and turns. The series stars Gulshan Devaiah as Karan, a tenacious cop, and Anurag Kashyap as Kazbe, a charming yet deadly villain. The show delves into Karan's pursuit of Kazbe while juggling his personal life.

‘Bad Cop,’ directed by Aditya Datt and adapted by Rensil D’Silva, marks Fremantle India’s first foray into fictional series production. The cast includes Harleen Sethi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Aishwarya Sushmita in significant roles.

Aditya Datt expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to present a story that is classic, quirky, thrilling, and full of action. It’s a hardcore cop versus villain chase with a fun twist. Each character is crafted with depth and played by outstanding actors. Collaborating with Disney+ Hotstar and Fremantle India was remarkable, and we hope audiences enjoy this adventure.”

Anurag Kashyap, discussing his role as Kazbe, said, “Creating Kazbe was challenging as he is a quintessential villain who acts without overthinking. It was an incredible experience working with Aditya Datt, Disney+ Hotstar, and Fremantle India.”

Gulshan Devaiah, playing the role of Karan, shared, “Working on ‘Bad Cop’ was a fun experience. The role is very different for me, and the action sequences were particularly challenging. Performing alongside Anurag, who has previously directed and produced my films, was a memorable experience. I’m eager to see the audience’s reaction to my portrayal of a filmy cop.”

The release date for ‘Bad Cop’ has not been announced, but it will soon be streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
