Navi Mumbai cops nab four members of Lawrence Bishnoi for planning attack on Salman Khan's car in Panvel

Salman Khan is topping the hitlist of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with the 1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case. On April 14, the gang sent two gunmen to open fire outside the superstar's residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Since the firing incident, the Tiger 3 actor has been put under tight security by the cops. Now, according to ANI's latest report, the Bishnoi henchmen had planned an attack on Salman's car in Panvel.

As per ANI's X handle, the Navi Mumbai police arrested 4 people, who were planning to order arms from a Pakistani supplier to attack Salman. The media agency's tweet read, "Navi Mumbai Police has arrested four people from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang as they had planned to attack actor Salman Khan's car in Panvel. For this, there was a plan to order weapons from a Pakistani arms supplier. FIR has been registered against more than 17 people including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, Goldy Brar. Further investigation is underway: Navi Mumbai Police The arrested accused have been identified as Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna and Rizwan Khan alias Javed Khan: Navi Mumbai Police."

 

According to Navi Mumbai police, the accused did a recce of Salman's Panvel farmhouse. The statement from the cops read, "The accused had done a recce of Salman Khan's house and farmhouse. Accused Ajay Kashyap contacted a person named Dogar in Pakistan through a video call and weapons like AK-47 were ordered from Pakistan to attack Salman Khan. The police got the information that about 60 to 70 boys of Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra's gang came from Mumbai, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Gujarat and are keeping an eye on Salman Khan. There was a plan to use minors to attack Salman Khan. After the attack, the accused had planned to flee to Sri Lanka via boat from Kanyakumari: Navi Mumbai Police."

On April 14, two men on a bike fired multiple rounds of bullets outside Salman's Galaxy Apartments. The accused were identified as Vikas (Vicky Gupta) and Sagar Pal. Anuj Thapan, who was accused of supplying the weapon in the firing incident died after attempting suicide while in custody for interrogation.
