Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' to Varun Dhawan's 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari', upcoming Dharma films

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions never failed to impress the audience and has got several films that are celebrated till date and the magic continues. 

After having certain successful releases over the years, let's go through the list of the upcoming ventures by the production house that are set to hit the big screens in the coming time.

Bad Newz - Starring 'Animal' fame Triptii Dimri alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, the film is set to release on July 19. 

Produced by Karan, Apoorva Mehta and Hiroo Johar, it is directed by Anand Tiwari.

The makers have shared the poster of the film earlier and it has been praised by the audience who can’t wait for the release of the project. 

Jigra- Ever since the announcement of Alia Bhatt's upcoming film 'Jigra' last year, fans have been curious for the updates about the project. 

Directed by Vasan Bala, the film is set to feature Vedang Raina, who made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' last year alongside Alia.
  
The actress will also produce the film, which will follow the story of a sister that is ready to go to any extent to protect her brother.
  
Produced by Karan, Alia and Apoorva, the film is expected to release on September 27.
  

Shankara- Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday starrer has generated massive buzz ever since the makers announced about the project. 

Produced by Karan, Apoorva and Anand Tiwari, the film will be directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.

  
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari- Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan's 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated projects. 

Also featuring Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who will also produce it alongside Karan.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is gathering for her upcoming release ‘Devara: Part 1’ where she will feature alongside Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan. 

Whereas Varun will star in ‘Baby John’.

Besides, Karan also announced his upcoming directorial. The filmmaker made the announcement on his birthday and more details about the project including the title and the star cast being kept under wraps.

He also made his directorial comeback last year with Ranveer Singh - Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. 

The film was well received by the audience and also starred Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.
