According to ANI's latest report, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang were planning an attack on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan near his Panvel farmhouse. Arms were to be offered from a Pakistani supplier. The Navi Mumbai police initiated action against four members of the gang. Now, as per the latest development, the cops have informed the agency that the Bishnoi gang was preparing to kill Salman with the same weapon used in Sidhu Moosewala's assassination.
As per ANI's tweet, the Turkey-made Zigana pistol was being ordered to attack Salman. The Navi Mumbai police told the media agency, "Lawrence Bishnoi gang was preparing to kill actor Salman Khan with the Turkey-made Zigana pistol which was also used to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala: Navi Mumbai Police."

Sidhu Moosewala, born as Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead on May 29, 2022, when he was driving his jeep in Mansa district. Reportedly, 30 rounds of bullets were fired at him. According to the cops, the killing was a result of an inter-gang rivalry. Goldy Brar, a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack.
On April 14, two men fired multiple rounds of bullets outside Salman Khan's residence. Post the incident, the Mumbai police beefed up his security.
