Sanjay Dutt shared a post on his Instagram on the occasion of his mother Nargis’ birth anniversary along with a heartfelt note.

The actor expressed his grief over not having her by his side and mentioned that he hopes she feels proud of him.

The post read, "Happy birthday mama, I miss you every day, every
minute, every second. I wish you were with me, leading the life you wanted me to, and I hope I have made you proud, love you and miss you, mama.”

The first picture featured the actor alongside the actress smiling whereas the next had the still of the actress.

Nargis was a legendary actress and was born on June 1, 1929.

One of her biggest film remains to be ‘Mother India’ and she is remembered for her performance in it till date.

Sanjay most recently appeared in ‘Jawan’ which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. 

The film released in the month of September last year.
