The dating rumours of Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur have been there for a while and both the actors never stepped back from fueling them. From their vacation pictures to the indirect confessions on the shows, the duo kept on dropping hints to the fans.

However, a month back reports of their breakup surfaced. Following, the actor was asked in a recent interview to comment about keeping his life personal and  being massively absent from social media.

He said, “I guess I’ve always been quiet about my personal life. That’s the way I like it. I’ve never really found the need or the urge or the want to have people know all about me and my personal life. So maybe that’s why I keep stuff to myself rather than, you know, put it all out there.”

The actor added, “I feel like, why let it in? Why do I have to spend time processing some rubbish that I don’t need to? It’s not helping me. It’s almost become a sport now where people know that their opinions can be out there and find it necessary to have opinions. They just want to say something about everything.”

As per the previous reports, the duo went different ways in the month of March and both have maintained privacy about the same. The source in one of the entertainment news websites also mentioned that things were going well between the duo and the break up came very unexpected for many. 

On the work front, Ananya most recently appeared in Netflix's drama 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' for which she received massive praise from the audience. Fans lauded her work in the film as one of her finest till date.
She will next feature in Prime Video's 'Call Me Bae'.

On the other side,  Aditya is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' which will also star Sara Ali Khan in the lead.
