Swara Bhaskar embraced motherhood in September last year as she welcomed her daughter Raabiyaa with her husband Fahad Ahmad.

The actress has been active on social media and often shares the glimpses of her family on the platform which is much adored by her fans.

However, Swara recently addressed an article by a leading Hindi newspaper which mentioned a body shaming comment.

Calling the actress ‘fat’, it has been stated as the reason for her not getting projects after giving birth.The tweet read, "Badhte wajan ke karan Swara ko nahi mil raha kaam.” Responding to it, Swara took to her Instagram story and shared her opinion on the same.

She wrote, "For those who cannot
read the Devanagari script, this is a leading Hindi newspaper handle that thinks it is newsworthy that a recent mom, who birthed a child a few months ago, put on weight! Can someone please explain the physiology of childbirth to the geniuses… ." She also added the screenshot of the tweet.

Swara has been a part of films like ‘Veere Di Wedding’, ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ and  ‘Raanjhanaa.’ 
She has been away from the acting after she tied the knot in January of the last year following the birth of her first child in September.Her latest project has been  ‘ Sheer Qorma’ which released in August, 2023.
