VJ and actor Anusha Dandekar has responded to rumors about her participation in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT. Additionally, she cryptically addressed her ex-boyfriend Jason Shah's recent statements regarding their breakup, accusing him of 'lying'.

Sharing a screenshot of several news reports on her Instagram Story, Anusha wrote, "At this point, if you google my name, first it was me trying to fit someone in a box! Lies! And now this. Another lie! I've not spoken to anyone, and they won't even call me for this show because they know my answer. I should be paid for the PR though."

She added, "I like that everyone wants to use my name. I guess I should be flattered, but how about you all start speaking some truths like how my film Juna Furniture is on its 6th week in cinemas, almost 7th now, and what a great film it is! There are some facts! Go watch it (sic)."

Earlier, Jason Shah, who portrayed Cartright in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, spoke to Times Now about the reasons behind their split. Jason mentioned that his breakup with Anusha prompted significant spiritual growth. He revealed that he rushed into the relationship and felt that Anusha didn't truly understand him.

"It was rushed. I didn't really think about it. The other person didn’t really understand me, and I felt they were trying to make me fit in their box. And that is not going to happen, right?" he said. Jason further explained that one of the biggest issues in relationships is that couples don't really listen to each other and tend to miscommunicate.

For the unversed, Anusha and Jason dated for a brief period before reportedly parting ways in 2021. Previously, Anusha had a long-term relationship with actor Karan Kundrra, which also ended in the same year.
