Janhvi Kapoor - Rajkummar Rao’s film Mr and Mrs Mahi heading towards Rs 25 crore with box office collection

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mr and Mrs Mahi has been getting much appreciation from the audience. With the story of a couple, who discover their comment love for the game of cricket after marriage, the audience have been praising the performances by the actors and also interesting storyline and captivating songs of the film.

As mentioned in the previous interviews, the actors have done extensive training for those respective roles especially Janhvi, who went on to transform from a non cricketer to cricket not just as a character but as a person as she went through intense training schedule as was demanded by the makers of the film. Following the response from the audience, it has surely paid off. 

The box office collection of the film continues to rise and the numbers are increasing with a great pace. The film has collected Rs 1.8 crore on Thursday marking a week from its release and continues to soar higher with its performance. Mr and Mrs Mani’s total collection at the box office stands at Rs 24.89 crore and is set to enter Rs 25 crore soon and following its performance over the last few days, it is here to stay for long. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film released on May 31 and is currently running in theatres and marks second collaboration of Janhvi and Rajkummar on screen. 

Meanwhile, Janhvi will also star in upcoming film Devara: Part 1. It will also feature Saif Ali Khan and Jr. NTR and is set to hit the big screens in the month of October. Rajkummar on the other side had another release earlier last month Srikanth. The film revolved around the life of a visually challenged industrialist.
