Suresh Oberoi praises Animal co-star Ranbir Kapoor, says he messaged Neetu Kapoor: Was very impressed

Suresh Oberoi, who most recently starred in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial 'Animal' spoke about his co-star Ranbir Kapoor and went on to praise his upbringing citing that the mannerism of the actor is quite commendable. The actor whose previous work included being a part of the projects like Aitbaar, Mazloom, Raghuveer, Dil Ka Kya Kasoor and Soldier shared that he was so impressed by the same that he messaged Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor appreciating her for the same. 

He said,  “I was very impressed with his discipline and the way he spoke." Further adding, "Neetu replied with a thank you. He is an excellent actor, just like his father; he doesn’t fail in a single aspect.”

The actor also revealed that his character in the film was supposed to die but surprisingly the scene which depicted it was removed from the final project. On asking the director about the same, he got to know that the filmmaker wanted him to be a part the upcoming part 'Animal Park' which was announced with the release of the film. 

'Animal' released in the month of December last year and also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in the lead. Despite getting polarized reviews, the film managed to make great score at the box office leaving all the films released during the same time behind. It followed the story of a complex father-son relationship between the characters of Anil and Ranbir. 

'Animal Park' is yet to go on floors but was confirmed to be even bigger project by the director in one of the previous interviews. Ever since the announcement of the upcoming sequel, fans have been awaiting for further updates about the film.
