Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao latest release ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ have been constantly getting appreciation from the audience and the box office numbers keep growing with unbeatable pace.
After almost crossing Rs 25 crore within just a week from its release, the film continues to soar higher and the total collection of it stands at Rs Rs 26. 20 crore. The film has earned Rs 1.31 on Friday which remains a good number considering that the film is already running its second week in the middle of the other releases as well.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film released on May 31 and is currently running in theatres. It follows a story of a couple, who discover their mutual live towards the game of cricket following which Janhvi’s character sets to play in the upcoming tour as she gets coaching from her husband (Rajkummar’s character). However things soon begin to fall apart and arguments between the duo arise.
Both the actors and the creators as well have previously spoken about the hardwork they had to put in the making of the film right from following by tight schedules to maintaining the physique required for the portrayal of respective characters. In one of the previous interviews, Janhvi even admitted suffering several injuries on set while filming for ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’. The filmmaker also shared a post on his Instagram last month narrating the journey of the actress of turning from a non- cricketer into a cricket.
