Kartik Aaryan is one of the most sought after actors of the current time and is all set to impress the audience with his upcoming film 'Chandu Champion'. Ahead of it, the actor was asked in a recent interview about his old rift with the filmmaker Karan Johar the rumours of which surfaced back on 2021. Apparently, Karan's Dharma Productions announced the making of 'Dostana 2' which was supposed to star the actor alongside Janhvi Kapoor. However, after a while the news of the recasting surfaced.
 
Following there were mutliple reports stating the possibilites of the announced and highlighting the fight between the actor and filmmaker. However, Kartik adressed the same saying that he tries to stay away from the rumours when they surface.
He said,  “Main tab bhi silent tha, aaj bhi silent hoon un baaton pe. Main 100% kaam karta hu lekin jab bhi aise koi khabar aati hai ya koi controversy aa jati hai to main apne shell mein rehta huin, main shant rehta huin. Main un cheezon mein zyada ghusta nahi hu, na kuch prove karne se mujhe kuch milta hai."

Earlier Janhvi was also asked to comment on the same to which the actress said that she doesn't know the reason behind the fall out.

Meanwhile, Kartik's upcoming 'Chandu Champion' is direcetd by Kabir Khan and will release on the theatre screens on June 14.
