Kriti Sanon began this year with back to back successful releases and is all set for her upcoming ventures. As the trending topic of the actors fees continues to occur, the actress, who also recently turned producer went on to address the same in one of her recent interviews. Kriti cited that whatever expenditure occurs it is important to take care of that but also adding that what matters at the end is the content of the film. She said, “There are certain areas where a lot of unnecessary expenditure happens. In the end, it is the content that wins. She added, "If you’re not focusing on the main thing, which is the content, I don’t think the rest matters.” The actress concluded, “It should make sense at the end of the day... But yes, we should be mindful of costs. We need to be mindful of everything on set.”
Many actors, filmmaker and producers have been speaking on this topic over the last few days including Anurag Kashyap, Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan. The debate on the same rose after some films didn't do well despite having big budgets and renowned stars earlier this year. Contrary, some films did fantastic job at the box office.
Kriti appeared in two films this year, Tere Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor followed by her most recent release Crew. The film has been directed by Rajesh A.Krishnan and also featured Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead. The film revolved around three air hostesses who are working for the airline which is on the verge of bankruptcy until a twist comes which unites three of them for a mission. She will next appear alongside Kajol in 'Do Patti'. Although the actress has worked with Kajol before during 'Dilwale' it will be the first time they will be starring in the lead roles together.
