Karisma Kapoor needs no introduction and has managed to establish herself as a successful actress over the years of being in the film industry. She has been a part of some of the biggest hits of Hindi cinema and has worked with all the biggest actors throughout becoming one of them.
In a recent interview, the actress recalled her childhood days and cites that she was highly inspired by the late actress Sridevi, who has been a legendary actress of the silver screen and her sudden demise in 2018 has come as a shock to many. Referring to it, Karisma said, “ I think generally we were inspired by what was happening in the West, old stories of actors, and especially what Sri ji (Sridevi) used to do.” She further added, "I've been inspired by her as a child.”
Despite belonging to the family of actors, Karisma wasn’t supported by her father to enter the industry. However, her mother has been a constant support for her.
Karisma most recently appeared in Netflix’s series ‘Murder Mubarak’ which also starred Vijay Verma, Sara Ali Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. It has been well received by the audience and also marked the OTT debut for the actress.
