Sonakshi Sinha has been all over the headlines ever since her marriage report surfaced. As per the news, the actress is set to tie the knot with her long time rumoured boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in Mumbai. After the report surfaced, fans have been curious about the same. However in a recent interview, the actress went on to cite that she isn’t compelled to speak on it and it’s her choice. She also mentioned that she often gets asked about her marriage plans which she finds baseless as it’s her own personal decision. Sonakshi replied, "Firstly, it's nobody's business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don't know why
people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very. funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn't bother me. People are curious, what can we do about it?"

Earlier this week, her father Shatrughan Sinha said he is not aware about the same.  “ I am in Delhi right now After the election results, I flew down here. I haven't spoken to anyone about my daughter's plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn't told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi janta ho jitna main media maine padha hai.” Her brother  Luv Sinha denied to speak on the same,   "I won't be commenting. It's better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter."

On the work front, Sonakshi most recently appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series debut ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. It released on May 1 also starring Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the lead.
