Kartik Aaryan opens up about his love life: ‘I’m called a romantic hero, but I have been unlucky in love’

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan, known for his private nature regarding his love life, has often been linked with several actresses. During the filming of "Love Aaj Kal," he was reportedly dating Sara Ali Khan. Following their alleged breakup, rumors surfaced about his relationships with Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday.

In a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Kartik candidly discussed his personal life. Shamani pointed out Kartik’s “notorious” reputation in the dating scene, to which Kartik responded, “Mera personal life at one point pe kaafi talked about ho gaya tha uss moment pe (My personal life became the most talked about subject at one point in my life. And it’s been like that since then).”

When asked if he learned to avoid public dating, Kartik humorously replied, “Main toh privately bhi date nahi kar raha hu. Dara dara ghoom raha hu shayad (I’m not even dating privately. I’ve been very scared lately).”

Kartik elaborated, “You meet very few people after getting famous. Because of your work, you meet a very limited number of people. It becomes like that. Paise ho jaaye, shauharat kama li, but one thing is sure you can’t buy love. I’m not dating anyone. I’m called a romantic hero, but I have been unlucky in love.”

Previously, in a conversation with Neha Dhupia on "No Filter Neha," Kartik was questioned about dating two close friends, albeit not at the same time. Kartik cheekily inquired if it counted if the friends became close later, and upon Neha’s confirmation, he admitted he was “guilty.” When asked about a question he’d ask an ex at a party, Kartik wittily responded, “How’s your current?”

As Kartik gears up for the release of his upcoming film "Chandu Champion" on June 14th, fans are eager to see him back on the big screen.
