Pushpa, one of the biggest films in Indian cinema, garnered a humongous fan base across the nation. People have been eagerly waiting for Pushpa 2: The Rule but here comes an update surrounding the most awaited film of the year. The latest development about Pushpa 2 suggests that the release date has been pushed. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer was initially supposed to hit theaters on 15th August 2024 however, it has now been delayed and fresh reports surrounding the film are out. The makers had some noteworthy reasons to take this tough decision. 

Ever since Pushpa 2 was announced there has been immense excitement among the fans eagerly waiting for another part of the blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise. Even before its release, the second installment of the Telugu language hit film created immense buzz. Sukumar's directorial is currently under filming and the team had been looking forward to wrap it up by mid-June. However, things didn’t materialize as planned and the team needs a month to complete it despite Allu Arjun imposing a strict deadline, as reported by media portal Telugu360.

The same news outlet has also mentioned that a few sequences of the film were redesigned and are being shot again. Fahadh Faasil who plays the lead antagonist in the action thriller has allocated dates and his portions are being shot currently. There have been quite a lot of modifications within the core team of Pushpa 2. A new editor Navin Nooli has been assigned after Karthika Srinivas walked out of the project, the reason behind this is still unknown. Editor Navin Nooli is currently working on the edit cut while director Sukumar is not happy with the VFX hence, the completion of this project will take some time. 

Makers are putting pressure on the director to meet the announced deadline however it seems to be impossible to release Pushpa: The Rule on 15th August. Allu Arjun who is headlining the action thriller series also wants the team to work on time. Considering everything the filming of Pushpa: The Rule will continue until the July end as per reports. Cinephiles will have to wait longer for the film to be released. It is awaited to see when we receive a new release date and the film is all set to hit the big screens.
