Karan Johar talks about high expenditure during filming: Remuneration of the actor has to be looked at again

Karan Johar recently attended the trailer launch of the much awaited film ‘Kill’ which was earlier screened at the Toronto Film Festival where it received massive response from the attendees. Starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal in the lead, the trailer launch took place in India yesterday and the film is set to hit the big screens in July.

During the event, the filmmaker was asked about much discussed topic over the last few months of the exaggerating expenditure that arises during the shooting. Responding to the same, the filmmaker shared hai thoughts pointing out that actor’s remuneration is the main factor that needs to be reconsidered during the same. He said, 
"Entourage cost is the least of our problems. It's the main remuneration of the actor that has to be looked at again. “ This topic became the talk of the town after several releases this year has varied response from the audience resulting in some becoming the hits whereas others turning into box office debacles. 

Karan also made his directorial comeback last year with his film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and went on to received much praise from the audience.
