Munjya based on a Maharashtrian folklore centered around a mythical creature continues its dream run in theaters. The horror comedy flick starring Sharvari and Abhay Verma in the leading roles is certainly headlined by CGI character and is highly loved by the audience. Running successfully at the box office the film has crossed the Rs 30 crore mark. Munjya maintains its winning streak at the box office keeping a steady pace in everyday collection. The film has hit the storm by making Rs 4.11 crore on box office collection day 6.
Dinesh Vijan’s latest offering continues to perform well. The film refuses to stop its celebration in theaters registering an unprecedented collection. Munjya has kept cash registers ringing with its impressive collection since day 1 making an opening of Rs 4.21 crore. The film hiked its earnings on the first weekend collecting Rs 7.40 and Rs 8.43 crore on days 2 and 3 respectively. Despite a Monday the film managed to pull the audience to theaters and made a business similar to day by earning Rs 4.11 crore. It maintains steady collection on day 5 and day 6 collecting over Rs 4 crore.
The film which is another addition to Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe including Stree and Bhediya has collected a total of Rs 4.11 crore on Wednesday helping the total collection to cross Rs 30 crore. Munjya has taken its total net box office collection until now to Rs 32.47 crore. Released on 7th June Munjya has performed phenomenally in the Indian market for its mythological-centric story.
Mujya directed by Aditya Sarpotdar also stars Mona Singh alongside Abhay Verma and Sharvari. The film is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under the banner of Maddock Films. The movie released on June 7 looks forward to more business in the coming week.
