Karan Johar reacts on Kangana Ranaut’s slap incident

Kangana Ranaut was recently slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh International Airport following her election as BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Many Bollywood celebrities and her friends from the film fraternity came in support to condemn the incident. The latest one to add a name to the list is surprisingly Karan Johar. The filmmaker and the actress carry a long-time feud. Both don’t share a great relationship in the industry and are popular for their prolonged quarrel. 

It came as a surprise to have Karan Johar commenting on Kangana Ranaut’s incident. He supported the actress despite their bitter dispute. Yesterday at the trailer launch of his upcoming produced film KILL the filmmaker commented on the incident during the media interaction. KJo, who avoids remarks over Kangana said “I don't support or condone any form of violence, verbal or physical.” Giving a brief statement he spoke in support of Kangana Ranaut’s slap incident. 

Following Kangana Ranaut’s Lok Sabha win as an MP for Mandi, Himachal Pradesh under the ticket of the ruling political party Bhartiya Janta Party she was travelling to Delhi from Chandigarh where the incident took place. CISF constable named Kulwinder Kaur slapped her for the actress's comment on a farmer’s protest in Delhi. 

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is currently busy with her new responsibilities as a newly elected BJP MP for Himachal Pradesh, a state she hails from. Coming over to film projects she is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Emergency. Talking about Karan Johar, he launched the trailer of Kill produced under his banner Dharma Production. He also has an exciting lineup of several movies including, Brahmastra Part Two Dev, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Dhadak 2, Jigra, Bad News, and an untitled film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan.
