Sunny Deol made his comeback to films last year with ‘Gadar 2’ where he starred alongside Ameesha Patel. The film went on to garner massive response from the audience and the box office numbers were rising higher and higher with each day from the first day of its release. Whether it’s a nostalgic reaction or the film has really been impressive for the fans, the love kept on pouring for it. 

Following, fans have been in anticipation of the upcoming projects from the actor and are waiting to get the glimpse of Sunny on the screens again. Now, the actor has made an official announcement for one of his films ‘Border 2’. Sharing the same on Instagram, the post captioned,  “"Ek fauji apne 27 saal purane wade ko pura karne, da raha hai phirse. India's biggest war film, #Border2.” There were reports about the film before but no official announcement till this.

Besides, Sunny is also shooting for his upcoming film ‘Lahore 1947’. It is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and is produced by Aamir Khan under his own  banner Aamir Khan Productions. The film also stars Preity Zinta, who recently completed the shoot as she announced wrapping it on her social media which consisted of the video post that had a montage of her shooting memories with the team. His latest starrer ‘Gadar 2’ has been directed by Anil Sharma and released on April 11 clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Oh My God 2’. The film was a sequel to the previous 2001 release ‘Gadar’ which also starred Sunny and Ameesha.
