Aditya Sarpotdar's directorial became a blockbuster hit crossing the Rs 30 crore mark within 6 days of its theatrical run. Not just that, the Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma starrer has enlisted new records to its accomplishments. This latest installment of Maddock Films horrorverse holds a position in the top 10 films highest box office in week one of 2024.  

To achieve this triumph Munjya has defeated films headlined by big names of Bollywood. It surpassed Yodha, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, and Maidaan in the first week's box office collection. Munjya was unthinkable to reach this record but when it comes to the Maddock Films project, the content can not be doubted. The film bringing the folklore of a Maharashtra town to light is highly celebrated by the audience. Pulling people to theaters for its creative storyline and brilliant cinematic experience the film has made an impressive business of Rs 36.50 crore in the first week.
