Kartik Aaryan’s trainer Tridev Pandey says actor lost 18 kgs for Chandu Champion

 

One of the most awaited films of the year ‘Chandu Champion’ which is a biopic on Murlikant Petkar, starring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Kabir Khan released yesterday. Ever since the makers unveiled the posters followed by the trailer of the film, the anticipation has only been rising and it was worth it. The film has been getting positive reviews from the audience.

But it wasn’t an easy take for the makers and a lot of hardwork and dedication went behind to achieve the final masterpiece. Not just tr intriguing scenes and fantastic performance but also the physical transformation. Kartik had to loose 18 kgs to attain the final result for his character. He subsequently avoided adding anything extra to his diet and his discipline surely got commendable results.

The actor was 90 kgs as he was shooting for his role in ‘Freddy’ and had to achieve 72 kgs and lesser body fat percentage. In a recent interview, his trainer, Tridev Pandey, shared about the journey of the actor. He said, "By the time we were done training, he had followed a calorie-deficit diet, was 72 kg and could do push-ups with 50 kg weight on his back and pull-ups with 27.5 kg weight around his waist." He also mentioned that the actor achieved the result without the intake of any steroid or injection. 

Besides, Kartik is also shooting for Anees Bazmee’s upcoming film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ which would be the third instalment to the franchise of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. The film also stars Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan, who previously worked in the first instalment alongside Akshay Kumar. The anticipation for the film is high and fans are waiting for the further updates.
