Fardeen Khan is basking the success of his latest role in ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bahansali, the series released on May 1 and is currently streaming on Netflix. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh alongside Fardeen, the series have received massive reviews from the audience and the makers also announced the second season of the much celebrated project. Set in the pre- independence India, it has also marked the web - series debut for one of the biggest directors of the film industry, Sanjay.
In a recent interview, the actor spoke about his previous films and also shared that there is just one film that he allows his children to watch which is ‘ Heyy Babyy’.
The actor said, "We watched Heyy Babyy together; it's the only film I've let them see so far, and yes, they enjoyed it. I want them to watch Khushi next.” He further added, “ The only problem is that they don't understand the language as they dont live in this country.” ‘Khushi’ is a romantic drama and starred Kareena Kapoor Khan alongside the actor, which also went on to received much praise from the audience. Whereas his film ‘Heyy Babyy’ starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead along with Fardeen.
He returned to acting after a while and also went through major physical transformation over the years about the journey of which he shared in some of his previous interviews.The actor will next star alongside Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu in upcoming film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ which is set to release on August 15.
It was previously scheduled for September but the makers recently announced the change as they postponed the film.
