Aamir Khan is all set for Sitaaare Zameen Par which is said to be the second installment of popular film Taare Zameen Par. Ever since the film was announced fans of the 2007 movie have been eagerly waiting to see what makers will offer them. Taare Zameen Par starring Darshel Safari was highly loved and was a motivational story for every age group. Similarly, the second part is expected to be and the audience will no longer have to wait as the shooting has been completed. The director of the ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, RS Prasanna, has announced the wrap of the shooting of the film starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh on his Instagram handle on Saturday.

The filmmaker shared a picture of the cake which had ‘Its a wrap’ mentioned on it. He further shared a post where he expressed his admiration for Aamir. It read, "From watching Lagan on screen and picking up my jaw from the floor. To standing next to, learning from, admiring and working with THE Amir Sir. God has been extremely kind and generous. So so much to learn from sir on so many fronts. But above all……. How to be an amazing human being… Full of love, passion, absolute humility…… Unending curiosity and learning zeal…… A terrific leader, an extraordinary creative culture builder.. Constantly empowering those around him. Extremely trusting…. And a protector.” He further shared the pictures alongside Genelia which he captioned, "What an absolute delight of a human. You are a treasure my friend."

The film will also mark the silver screen return for Aamir, who hasn’t appeared in any project since his 2022 film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, the actor has been actively producing films under his production banner Aamir Khan Productions. He recently backed the film of his ex-wife Kiran Rao titled ‘Laapataa Ladies’ which released on March 1 to positive reviews. He is also producing Sunny Deol’s upcoming film ‘Lahore 1947’. It is directed by  Rajkumar Santoshi and also stars Preity Zinta in the lead.
