We are comfortable watching hit Bollywood pairs but at the same time, we also enjoy fresh pairings. One such new pair to cast together is Ayushmann Khurrana and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Yes, you got that right, both A-listers will share the screen in Meghna Gulzar’s next project. The director who is known to bring up fresh pairings that have been well-received might have envisioned a chemistry and connection between these prominent stars. The project that is in saying has been titled Daayra.

According to Filmfare reports, both prominent stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Kareena Kapoor Khan have agreed to share screen space. Daayra directed by Meghna Gulzar is touted to be high-drama film. The publication has confirmed the news from a reliable industry source claiming both stars are excited to team up. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Daayra is bankrolled by Junglee Pictures. Ayushmann Khurrana and Kareena Kapoor Khan have never collaborated on a film before and it will be exciting to see them together on the big screen. 

Critically acclaimed director Meghna Glzzar has locked her new script with Bebo and Vicky Donar fame. According to reports the the film is based on the horrifying 2019 Hyderbad Rape Case. The filmmaker is contemplating taking this drama flick on floors by the end of this year and will arrive in cinemas in 2025. According to a source, “It’s a hard-hitting film that warrants the presence of actors with the caliber of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana. The duo read the script and were shocked by the details of the case. After Talvar, this is another film that could shock the nation and stir a conversation about the case.” 

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is reported to star in Dharma Production’s next alongside Sara Ali Khan. He is also alleged to collaborate with South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Dinesh Vijan’s film. The project is said to be a vampire film under Maddock Films' supernatural universe.
