Ajith Kumar, the celebrated actor, is currently immersed in two highly anticipated big-budget action thrillers. Among these, "VidaaMuyarchi" has been eagerly awaited for years, and recent updates suggest that 2024 could finally be the year it hits theaters.
Arjun Sarja, who plays a significant role in "VidaaMuyarchi," confirmed that the team is set to resume shooting this week. He revealed that approximately 20-30% of the film's production is still pending. Sarja also teased that the film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, will redefine action cinema, promising a completely different experience for the audience.
Joining Ajith Kumar and Arjun Sarja in the shoot will be the evergreen Trisha Krishnan. Sarja hinted that the filmmakers are aiming for a grand Diwali release, much to the delight of Ajith Kumar's fans, who eagerly await his return to the big screen. In addition to Ajith, Arjun, and Trisha, "VidaaMuyarchi" boasts an impressive cast, including Regina Cassandra and Arav.
Notably, Sanjay Dutt has been approached for a major role, although an official statement on this potential collaboration has yet to be released. The project is being produced by Lyca Productions, with music composed by the talented Anirudh Ravichander.
In parallel to "VidaaMuyarchi," Ajith Kumar is also preparing for another action-packed film titled "Good Bad Ugly," directed by Adhik Ravichandran. This film will feature music by National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad, with Vijay Velukutty handling editing and Abinandhan Ramanujam showcasing his skills as the cinematographer.
Early reports suggest that Sreeleela, known for her role in "Guntur Kaaram," and Bobby Deol are in talks to join the cast. Produced by Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, "Good Bad Ugly" is slated for a Pongal release in 2025.
