Taapsee Pannu, who debuted with David Dhawan's 'Chashme Baddoor' in 2013, has become a prominent name in Hindi cinema, starring in critically acclaimed films such as 'Baby,' 'Pink,' 'Mulk,' 'Manmarziyaan,' 'Saand Ki Aankh,' and 'Thappad.' Recently, Taapsee opened up about her early days in the industry and how Preity Zinta served as her inspiration.
During an appearance on the talk show 'Dhawan Karenge' with Shikhar Dhawan, Taapsee shared insights into her Bollywood journey. The 'Dunki' actress revealed, "I was first brought into Bollywood because I share a resemblance with Preity Zinta. She has a very positive energy, and you know it well."
Expressing her admiration for Preity, Taapsee praised the senior actress as "lively and intelligent," and mentioned that she felt a responsibility to uphold Zinta's reputation. "I always put to be like her," Taapsee added.
Currently, Taapsee is gearing up for "Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba," the sequel to "Haseen Dillruba," along with other upcoming projects like 'Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan' and 'Khel Khel Mein.'
