Sources close to the production disclosed, "Ranveer has officially signed on to portray Dev. While the script for the sequel is still under development, filming is slated to commence in 2025. Currently, Ayan Mukherji is immersed in War 2, and Ranveer will kickstart shooting for Baiju Bawra later this year, making the exact schedule for Brahmastra 2 production uncertain."
In addition to his speculated involvement in Brahmastra 2, Ranveer Singh recently addressed the shelving of his film Rakshas, directed by Prasanth Varma. Both Singh and Varma expressed disappointment over the project's postponement but hinted at future collaborations. "Prasanth is a special talent, and while Rakshas isn't happening now, we hope to collaborate on something exciting soon," said Singh, echoing Varma's sentiments about their potential future endeavors.
