Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin have once been a married couple however they partied their ways and are now happily settled at their respective places. Whereas Anurag didn’t marry anyone after his divorce, Kalki found love once again and is now a mother to a daughter. In a recent interview, the filmmaker revealed that the house he lives in has actually been found by his ex-wife. He also shared that the house earlier belonged to Shashank Ghosh. 

He further added, "When I came to Mumbai, I actually just wanted to somehow get into movies. I could have done anything for the house. When Kalki had actually found this house. And then I moved in here.” 

Anurag said, "This was the house we moved in. When I got married, Kalki had found this house. Shashank Ghosh, the director, used to own this house. So we bought it from him. Shashank Ghosh hosted a lot of people in this house.”

The director also mentioned that he prefers to live on rent as it gives the liberty to move out of the place wherever required. He said, "I used to live on rent. I never
stayed in a house that I had bought. I still prefer living on rent because that gives you the flexibility to go anywhere."

Talking about the equation between Anurag and Kalki, the filmmaker previously spoke about it and revealed that the initial years after their separation were tough however over the time they converted their bond into a good friendship and have been in touch.

The duo tied the knot in 2011 and divorced later in 2015.
