Shraddha Kapoor has officially confirmed her relationship with Rahul Mody. The actress took Instagram Stories to share a selfie with Rahul, solidifying months of speculation about their romance. In the photo, the couple twinned in white outfits, with Shraddha smiling warmly as she held Rahul's arm while he made a goofy expression. Captioning the post, Shraddha wrote, “Dil rakh le, Neend toh vaapis de de yaar,” accompanied by a smiley face and red heart emoticons.
Shraddha and Rahul reportedly grew close while working together on the film "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," where Rahul was a writer. The couple first caught public attention when they were seen together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar. They were also photographed after a dinner date in Mumbai last year. A source told Hindustan Times that the couple was ‘shocked’ at being photographed together and preferred to keep their relationship private.
Adding to the romance rumors, Shraddha was seen wearing a pendant with the initial ‘R’ in March this year.
On the professional front, Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up for her next project, "Stree 2." The horror-comedy sequel will see her reprising her role alongside Rajkummar Rao. The "Stree 2" teaser was recently released with "Munjya." Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, "Stree 2" is part of the producer’s horror-comedy universe, which includes films like "Stree," "Roohi," and "Bhediya." The film is slated for release on August 15th.
