On Wednesday morning, the actress shared a picture of her injury on Instagram Stories, showing a cut just below her throat. While the wound did not appear to be too deep, it looked painful. Despite the injury, Priyanka shared a heartwarming update on her Instagram Stories shortly after, featuring her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas enjoying her drawing notebook and colored pencils. She captioned the photo, “Reunited,” with a red heart emoji.
Last week, Priyanka penned a touching Father’s Day message for her husband, Nick Jonas. She posted a picture of Nick feeding Malti with a milk bottle while looking out of the window. “Watching you with our daughter fills my heart with gratitude. Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, the film follows the story of a former female pirate, played by Priyanka, who must protect her family when the sins of her past catch up to her.
