Kartik Aaryan plays matchmaker with mom on The Great Indian Kapil Show finale amidst acclaim for 'Chandu Champion’

Kartik Aaryan is receiving accolades for his poignant portrayal of former Indian Paralympic Olympian Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion. However, the actor's personal life remains a hot topic of discussion. Recently, Kartik appeared on the finale episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside his mother, Dr. Mala Tiwari, who took on the role of a matchmaker.

In a promo shared by the show's Instagram handle, Kartik admitted, “I was never as nervous as I am today.” Mala playfully responded, “I will speak nothing but the truth.” The Chandu Champion star then pleaded with his mother, “Please say something positive (about me).” Host Kapil Sharma quipped, “I am thinking if she (Mala Tiwari) spies on her son so much, I wonder what she does to you (referring to Kartik's father Dr. Manish Tiwari).” Mala Tiwari even interviewed potential matches from the audience. When one of them mentioned she was a doctor, Kartik couldn't help but blush. The comedy series premieres on June 21st, Saturday, at 9 PM on Netflix.
