Highly anticipated film Jee Le Zaraa was announced long back in 2021, however, the film did not see any progress of making. Rumours are rife that Farhan Akhtar’s directorial has been shelved for various reasons. Well, here comes the latest update surrounding the project right from the leading actress Alia Bhatt who will share the screen with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. As Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani star gives a major update it is wondered whether the film will see the light of the day anytime soon. 

Je Le Zaraa is based on a girls road trip starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. This is another installment from Farhan Akhtar’s travel films including Dil Chahta Hai, and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaraa. The latest addition to this stock is Jee Le Zaraa which is women-centric, unlike other films from Excel Entertainment Productions travel movies. In a recent interview, Alia addressed delays in the filming of the movie. The actress claims that the intention to make the film is very strong. 

In a new interview with News18, the Jigra actress said, “I think the intention to make that film is from everybody's perspective… very, very strong. So just the nature of the subject and we are talking about collaboration earlier when I was talking about Ed… here is a really strong team of collaborators coming together. So the intention is make it happen. Sometime there is a time and place for everything and you just have to wait for the right time to come together. But I think the intention in everybody's hearts is to make sure that this film hits the big screen, some day or the other.”

Jee Le Zaraa will mark the return of Farhan Akhtar as director after 13 years following his last directorial Don 2. The film is written and produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The much-awaited film revolves around the road trip taken by three independent girls.
