Sunny Deol to make Telugu debut, announces film with Gopichand Malineni, Mass Feast Loading

 

Sunny Deol has made a grand comeback last year with his film Gadar 2: Katha Continues where he starred opposite Ameesha Patel. The film was a sequel to the 2001’s instalment Gadar: Ek Prem Katha which was also much lauded by the audience. Now, the actor is set to collaborate  with the South filmmaker  Gopichand Malineni, who has previously helmed the projects ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’.

Sharing the announcement on the X handle (formerly known as Twitter), the actor wrote, "Make way for the biggest action film of the country - #SDGM" and the actor also added, "MASS FEAST LOADING! Shoot begins soon". More details of the projects are yet to be announced. The film also marks the Telugu debut for the actor and his first collaboration with the filmmaker. 

Besides, Sunny will also star in upcoming Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial ‘Lahore 1947’ alongside Preity Zinta. The film is produced by Aamir Khan under the banner Aamir Khan Productions. Preity also shared about wrapping her schedule a while back as she uploaded a montage of the pictures on her Instagram. He also announced his another film ‘Border 2’ which will also be a sequel.

There were also reports that the actor will portray the role of Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead although there has been no confirmation for the same from the makers. This lineup of projects for the actor has excited the audience and the fans are eagerly anticipating for the films. His latest film ‘Gadar 2’ has been directed by Anil Sharma and released on April 11 last year clashing with the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ at the box office.
