Anurag Kashyap recently shared about hai daughter Aaliyah Kashyap’s reaction to Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ and said that she initially disliked the film and even didn’t agree with the filmmaker for praising the project.

‘Animal’ has been directed by Sandeep  Reddy Vanga and released last year. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobb Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in the lead. Although the film received mixed reviews from the audience nothing stopped it from becoming a box office hit and the numbers were just increasing day by day leaving all the other projects behind. Later, Anurag reviewed the film and praised the director Sandeep for it. He shared a note on social media along with a picture of himself and Sandeep where he expressed his admiration for the project. However, Anurag said Aaliyah found it opposite and even criticised him for liking the film and sharing the picture on social media. 

The filmmaker said, "My daughter called me out. She hated
Animal.” He further added, that Aaliyah went for the film with her fiends but returned disappointed. He continued, "They all came home and asked me 10,000
questions. And I was like, tum baki sab toh chhod do, picture ka naam kya hail? Animal. It's not called 'Human'. Why did the film become difficult? Because everyone's favorite Ranbir Kapoor played the role.”

The filmmaker also admitted that Ranbir did a great job at performing his character in the film. The film will also have a sequel which was earlier announced by the makers and will be titled ‘Animal Park’. It was announced during the release of the film and as per the makers will be even bigger as compared to the first instalment.
