Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been all over the headlines in the last few days after the report surfaced stating about their marriage which is reportedly set to take place on June 23. 

Ever since fans have been pouring congratulatory wishes for both and not only they but even the colleagues of the actor took to their respective social media handles to congratulate. Yo Yo Honey Singh even confirmed his attendance at the wedding with an Instagram story. However both he actors have been silent about the same but have been dropping hints about the big day. 

As the rumours began to take rounds, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha was asked to comment on the same and confirm if his daughter is getting married however the actor said tha the has no knowledge of the same and wasn’t informed about the upcoming wedding. Following another reports emerged suggesting that he won’t be attending the wedding which he denied in a recent interview. The actor stated that he is proud of his daughter and will surely attend her wedding. 

Now, Sonakshi has dropped an Instagram story which featured her family and her husband to be Zaheer. The picture had her father Shatrughan and mother Poonam Sinha among others. 

Sonakshi and Zaheer met during the shoot of the film ‘Double XL’ which released in 2022. The duo was then rumoured to be dating and have often been spotted together at several different places however never admitted their relationship publicly. But have been dropping hints which made the fans curious about the same. Few days back Zaheer also shared pictures partying with his ‘boys gang’ which gave even more surety to the fans about the upcoming wedding. On the work front, Sonakshi most recently starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. It released on May 1 and is currently streaming on Netflix. The actress has received much praise for her role in the series.
