Bollywood actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut made several headlines recently when she was elected as BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh constituency. She won the Lok Sabha 2024 election and post the win an incident took place at the Chandigarh airport. The actress was hit in the face by a CISF constable for her previous comment on the farmer's protest. Following the incident, several Bollywood celebs came in support of her. Recently, Annu Kapoor was also asked to share his thoughts about the same but he questioned the identity of the actress. However, Kangana couldn’t stay quiet and gave a befitting reply.

In a recent press conference of Hamare Baarah, Annu was asked to comment on Kangana Ranaut’s slap incident. Well, the actor cross-questioned the journalist asking “Who is she?” He said, “First let me know who is she. If asking about her, she might be a big heroine.” This comment from the actor came as a surprise to everyone and sparked a strong reaction from the Queen star who is known to create controversies through her words. 

Kangana Ranaut is highly active on social media and took one of the platforms to give a befitting reply to Annu Kapoor. Sharing a clip from the press conference on Instagram stories the actress called out Hamare Baarah actress. She wrote in the story caption, “Do you agree with Annu Kapoor ji that we tend to hate a successful woman, hate her more if she is beautiful and hate her even more passionately if she is powerful? Is it true?"

Talking about Annu Kapoor, he recently featured in the film Hamare Baarah which faced criticism and controversy before its release. Expected to release on 14th June the film faced a ban a day before and was put on hold. However, later the film saw the day of light and was released in theaters.
