Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabbhas and Deepika Padukone. Ahead of the release of the sci-fi film Big B shared a real-life update that attracted the audience. Mr. Bachchan revealed that he was reading Ramcharitmanas just a few days before the release of the highly anticipated film. On Monday night, the megastar took to his blog to share one of the pages of the mythological book.
The KBC host shared a quote from Ramcharitmanas and penned down the translation. Before sharing the picture of the script he wrote, “We are in time after ages .. and the age of the ages is beginning to get a control .. which is recommended and practised all over .. so the effect of that early bird shall be exercised and the results reverted upon.”
Further, he translated the verses, “Without knowing divinity, there is no belief .. without belief there is no love, and without love how can there be devotion .. just like the reflected smoothness of water is never still or stagnant .. without a guru, there can be no learning; without reclusion, quietude can there be learning .. the Veda and the Puraan say that without the prayer devotion to Hari, can there be peace and calm.”
Amitabh added, “Can a boat ever move without being in water .. without the earth can there be trees that grow .. and many more such examples .. to exemplify the presence and the prayers to the Almighty, the absence of which a lot is not possible.” The megastar then wrote, “I pray for eternal peace and calm .. Who so ever listens to it, may there be fructification.”
Besides, Nag Ashwin's directorial and Vyjayanthi Network produced Kalki 2898 AD, and Amitabh Bachchan has some interesting projects in the lineup. He will reunite with Rajinikanth after 32 years in Thalaivar 170. He will also be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta's courtroom drama Section 84.
