The last episode of Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show was streamed last week during which the guests were Kartik Aaryan, who recently starred in Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘Chandu Champion’ and his mother Mala Tiwari. On the show, the host, Kapil revealed a funny incident about shooting an episode with Aamir Khan and how everyone ran behind the actor initially to bring him to the show ending in an opposite situation when the actor had to chase the makers later.
Narrating the same, Kapil said, "When we would come on TV, we would shoot 8 episodes in a month. But this time, we shot one episode, featuring Aamir Khan, for over 8 months.” He further added, “Initially, we ran after him to shoot the episode for six months, then he ran after us for 2 months to show him the episode and how it turned out. But that episode was really appreciated."
As the first season of the Netflix show has concluded, the streaming platform recently announced the renewal and mentioned that the show would be back with a second season soon. Following the same, Kapil also highlighted that the upcoming season would be bigger but the makers won’t make the audience wait so long for it.
The first season was much appreciated by the audience and featured several celebrities throughout. It is streaming on Netflix. Produced by Kapil it began streaming in the month of March and had its concluding episode on June 22 with its 13th episode. Alongside Kapil, the show also featured Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Rajiv Thakur, who entertained the audience in the best way possible throughout the season. The updates about the release of the second season and more details are yet to be revealed by the makers.
