Aamir Khan Reviews son Junaid Khan's debut film Maharaj

Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, who recently made his acting debut with 'Maharaj,' shared his father's reaction after watching the film. In a recent interview, the debutant revealed that Aamir Khan was impressed by his performance and the film.

Speaking to ANI, Junaid was asked about his father's feedback on 'Maharaj.' He said, "He normally lets us do what we want unless we ask for something particular; then he gives advice. But he liked the film. He saw the film a few months ago and he quite liked it."

During the same interview, Junaid also shared his feelings about joining the project. "When Sid (Siddharth P Malhotra) and Adi Sir called me for this story, I found it very appealing. I really liked Sid Sir's part. The Yash Raj banner is significant, so taking on this project was an obvious choice," he said.

Elated with the audience's reaction to 'Maharaj,' Junaid expressed his excitement. "I cannot explain in words what I'm feeling right now. Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me, but all's well that ends well, I guess," he told ANI.

'Maharaj,' based on Saurabh Shah's book and true events, is set in 1800s Bombay. The film follows Karsandas Mulji (played by Junaid Khan), a courageous journalist and dedicated social reformer. The story centers on his confrontation with a high priest, or 'Maharaj' (portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat), accused of sexually exploiting women devotees.

After receiving rave reviews for his performance in 'Maharaj,' Junaid Khan is looking forward to working with a supportive crew and cast like the one he had in this Netflix film.
