Kick 2: Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez's sequel almost cracked, ‘Sajid feels immense pressure’

As anticipation builds for Salman Khan's forthcoming film 'Sikandar', which reunites him with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, fans are also eagerly awaiting news on the sequel to their 2014 hit 'Kick'.

In a recent interview with Connect Media Network, Warda Nadiadwala, wife of renowned producer Sajid Nadiadwala, provided insights into the progress and challenges surrounding the much-anticipated sequel, Kick 2, starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Warda disclosed that the film's director, Sajid Nadiadwala, had nearly finalized the script, emphasizing that "Kick 2 had almost cracked."

However, she highlighted the pressures faced by Sajid to deliver a film that surpasses the expectations set by its predecessor. "Sajid feels immense pressure from the fans," Warda remarked, acknowledging the high stakes involved in creating a sequel to the popular 2014 action-comedy, Kick. Despite the script nearing completion, Warda suggested that the pursuit of perfection and fan anticipation had delayed the film's progression.

Addressing eager fans, Warda encouraged patience, suggesting, "I think fans should take it slightly easy and say 'Just bring it, we will like it. Just bring Devi Lal.'" She reassured that the script for Kick 2 was shaping up beautifully but hinted that its production might commence after the completion of Salman Khan's current project, Sikandar.

Salman Khan's upcoming film, Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, marks a significant return to Hindi cinema for the director after an eight-year hiatus. The film reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, known for their successful collaborations in films like Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Actress Rashmika Mandanna joins the cast in a pivotal role, marking her debut alongside Salman Khan.

As fans await further developments, Kick 2 remains a highly anticipated project promising to deliver another dose of action-packed entertainment.
