Nawazuddin Siddiqui has delivered some of the finest performances and continues to be a part of the film industry and impress the audience with his craft. The actor has always managed to master the most challenging characters with an ease and has a massive fan base for the same.
In a recent interview, the actor was asked about his thoughts on the method acting that Ranveer Singh adopted while portraying his character of Khilji in the much acclaimed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Padmaavat’ which also featured Deepika Padukone in the lead. Talking about it the actor agreed with Ranveer’s approach for the film and praised him for the same.
Nawazuddin also criticised the remark made by Prashant Narayanan a while back who mentioned that Ranveer was lying about adopting the method acting. Although Nawazuddin didn’t take the name of Prashant. In an earlier interview, Prashant slams Ranveer for lying about his work in the film and said, "Woh hoot bol raha hai. Yeh dark spaces mein jana, yeh sab karna yeh bakwas
ki baatein hain. “
Commenting on the same. Nawazuddin said that no one can judge the process of the actor and what one thinks while performing the act. Further, the actor also mentioned that there is nothing to lie about and when actors are serious about their craft, they tend to cross extra miles to achieve the results. He also noted that Ranveer isn’t the first person to practice method acting and several actors did the same to perfect their performances especially with the challenging characters.
