Anurag Kashyap, who is currently promoting his latest project ‘Bad Cop’ was recently asked about the time he was put in a lock up for a night. Anurag was questioned for how long did he go to the jail and the reason behind it. The filmmaker shared that he was put up in a lock up for a day and the same occurred after he slapped a person, who initially made him go behind the bars. However, Anurag also added that the same person ensured to take him out from there. 

Anurag said, "Han gaya hu. Galat dadmi ko thappad maar diya tha.” Further adding, "Jis aadmi ne mujhe jail mein daala ussi aadmi ne meri life bhi badal di,” as he recalled how he was taken out by him.

Anurag is known for his outspoken nature and he doesn’t step away from the same. In a recent interview, he also spoke about how he would get angry at people and cited the example of one stranger that entered his house requesting him to hear out the script. Also adding that he has been rude not only to him but several colleagues in the industry too. He also mentioned how certain actors have ghosted him. He said, "It still happens. There are two actors who started their careers with me and then ghosted me on the film that I am doing. They didn't care to say a yes or no, they just ghosted."

His latest project ‘Bad Cop’ also stars  Gulshan Devaiah, Harleen Sethi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and
Aishwarya Sushmita. Anurag portrays the role of Kazbe Mama in it.
