Kalki 2898 AD overloaded with VFX is a cinematic universe created by director Nag Ashwin. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan among the ensemble cast the film has received rave reviews. Having been released on 28th June, the sci-fi flick has attracted viewers. The film is receiving a positive response from celebs. Recently megastar Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna went gaga over the movie set in a dystopian future.

Veteran actor Nagarjuna too couldn’t resist himself from lauding the movie. On Saturday, he tweeted, “Congratulations to the team of super duper Kalki 2898 AD!! Naagi you took us to another time and another place, entwining fiction with mythology and history so effortlessly!! Amit Ji, the original mass hero… Sir, you are on fire... can’t wait to see Kamalji in the sequel… did not get enough of him! Prabhas you did it all over again!! Kalki 2898 AD is a sci-fi drama set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian future. The film is dated 6000 years after Mahabhrata’s Kurukshetra war. Amitabh Bachchan’s character hails from the mythological era as Ashwathama was cursed to live forever. On day 1 Nag Ashwin’s film reportedly made a business of Rs 191 crore as a global box office collection. Produced by Vijayanthi movies the film was released in cinemas on June 28, 2024.
